I love the painted fabric, It looks great. But I have seen this IRL, and the painted areas tend to be hard to the touch and crack over time. maybe they used a better paint- I'm gonna check the blog now to see!! thanks for posting!

love it, and even if the paint is hard or cracks overtime....I still think its a great and inexpensive way to dress up a decorative pillow until you feel like replacing them.

Oh yeah, I never thought of that for the pillow. Interesting. But if it's a pillow just for show, then you are good to go. And using it on fabric for something like a curtain really wouldn't matter because it's hanging, but I guess it could crack over time. I guess that is the chances you take with DIY.
