KERATIN!
I am thinking about getting the Keratin treatment done.
Who has done this? Any words of advice or caution? Love it or hate it?
It is pricey but I have been so annoyed with my hair since having my girls - I need something to help it!!

I just had it done 2 weeks ago and love it - my hair is super curly and after the baby it was dry and frizzy - now my hair is curly but not tight and no frizz at all - it also does not get tangled and when I straightened it lasted and looked shiny and healthy.

My cousin is a hairdresser and does it. Let me know if you want her information. I think she charges $150 and that includes a haircut and the special shampoo/conditioner.

Thanks but I am going to my aunt. It is still a little expensive for the products but much less than the salon prices!

i've had it done twice and love it!! i had it done right before my wedding in sept 2008 and didn't have it done again until july 2009 and i'll probably get it done again in june.
it's great for the warmer months and if you take care of it correctly it can last a lot longer than they say, especially if you continue to get it done!

I have been doing it for years. Love it but it doenst last that long for the money you spend. I actually do it myself.

I just had the new one done today at Hair Club IB. Its the one that they wash there on the spot and do not have to wait three days to wash. It the newest one in the market....
I have curly hair like Kerri Russell/Sarah Jessica Parker crazy hair. I wanted to do it to get rid of the frizz for the summer...Once they washed it off, it feels super healthy and is about 80% straight... My hair is between my bra strap and butt and they charged me 190...

This is the one I do. I have done the 4 day and the 24 hour one and get the best results by far from the wash right out one......plus who wants greasy hair for 4 days. There is a place in the city that has been doing it for years. This is also the one I give myself. Its actually really easy to do with another person and we bought the stuff so we save tons of money this way.
