tipping...adding $ to the check?
Do you think it's ok if I just add some $ onto the check I write when I pay? DH was supposed to leave me cash to tip the electrician today but he forgot...now they are here and I don't want to leave them alone in my house to go get $. I was thinking of just tacking some extra $ onto the check and telling them to split it for the tip. I know it will probably be a pain for them but I figured that it was better then not tipping them at all...what do you think?

I think that would make it complicated. Maybe run to the cash machine when they take their lunch break ? But, if they dont take one, I would do teh check thing since its the best that you can do under the circumstances.
