Yay, the chainsaws are here!
We had a new neighbor move in recently to a home behind us with a bunch of huge, old trees. They've been leaning into our fence, and into our detached garage as a result of the recent storm. I went over there last weekend and introduced myself, welcomed the lady to the neighborhood and then politely got to the point and asked her to remove her trees.
It will be one less thing to worry about at least.
to a nice new neighbor.

that was very nice of them to do that - i know how it feels being the one with all the trees in the yard and i have heard it from both neighbors, i told them that will be in the fall if not sooner.

Wow that's darn neighborly. I'd bake or bring them something as a thank you. You never know what may pop up in the future.

That's a good idea. I could tell that the new owner was already overwhelmed with the house. It's basically a 1950's original that needs a huge overhaul.
