I went there. It's not the best, not the worst. I had a good experience, my brother had a terrible experience. I think it has gone downhill since I went, imo. We did not buy in that district, but the one over. HTH.

I am not sure, I think they have it. Where you get a choice between a few preschools-the district itself doesn't have prek.

MCCSD is not the best but not the worst. The only elementary school I did not like was New Lane which is on the Selden/Coram border. They have open classrooms,and no cafeteria (the kids eat lunch at their desks).

I went to Middle Country and it was a decent school district. My niece and nephew go there now and they are doing really well. I think the middle schools and high schools could be better but the elementary schools are good. If there was a house in the district that I liked I would have bought there.

I asked my sister (who is a teacher) about middle country when we first started looking, and she said the same, not the best but not the worst.

I taught there for a little while-imo i agree-not the best not the worst-in terms of teachers, some were wonderful, some were horrible..
