I need help

Ok, so this summer I'm going to get married, and I just recently began my first "real job"..however, I feel like I am not dressing the way I would like to-if that makes any sense. I want to start dressing more fashionable/trendy/professional.

I have a few basics that I've invested in over the years, that treat me well-

Nice black flats
Nice black dress pants
Nice low black leather heels
Nice handbags

I feel like the area I struggle with though are tops/accessories..

Any suggestions? Websites I could look at for inspiration?

Also, on a random note, I loveeee this jacket, but cannot justify spending over 400 on it-can anyone find something similar?

I would invest in a few cashmere sweaters- they can be worn year round-at least one in a basic neutral (beige or black) and one in a bold color like red.

A tailored suit- you can wear it together or seperate the pieces- get pants and a skirt that match the jacket.

A high quality white button down blouse

A few cardigans (black, brown, and a bright)

A colorful pair of shoes to liven up a plain suit.

Try Deconstructed Life. Still in its infancy, but there is focus on workwear and wardrobe basics.

I like to stay classic with my pants/skirts and just rotate out my tops.

I find a pair of pants that fit well and buy them in every color Chat Icon

For work tops, I always have luck at NY&Co. I'm huge on throwing a cardigan over everything bc you never know what the temperature will be in this office.

Hmm, well Express pants fit me well, so I do have a bunch of them

and I own more cardigans than I can count, I just feel like I'm in a rut-every day I wear black flats, black/dark gray dress pants, and a nice br tank top/tee with a cardigan
