Drugstore makeup MUST HAVE!!
I have to share my story because I'm still so blown away by what I've discovered..
A month ago I went to the gym and then out for a quick breakfast bite with my dad. I hadn't planned on going to get food, so I didn't bring any make-up with me to the gym. When I finished my workout, I rinsed my face and had that red blotchiness I get from working out. I ran to cvs to buy a powder to simply cover the blotchiness. I don't own any drugstore makeup, so I had no idea what I was looking for. L'Oreal Bare Natural was the first thing I saw, so I found my color and proceeded to the check-out. I think I paid like $8. I put it on quick and went to eat.
The make-up has been sitting in my bathroom since then without being touched.
Towards the end of last week, my skin errupted like a teenager with acne. I was expecting and was stressed out, so my skin was not cooperating. Around my chin was the worst. I tried everything. My daily regime is Chanel compact, bronzer and maybe some blush. With the outbreak, I needed some additional coverage, so I tried this benefit cover-up stick I had, stila foundation, even the almighty cleu de peau cover-up stick. NOTHING worked.
Out of the corner of my eye I spot the L'Oreal Bare Natural. I figured I'd give it a shot since I tried everything else. I can not begin to explain how amazing the coverage was. This $8 powder covered not only the outbreak I was concerned about, but everything else unwanted on my face - it even made my eyes look younger by smoothing out the fine lines at the corner of my eyes!
This morning my skin looked much better, but I'm now obsessed with this powder, so I used it ontop of my chanel compact before my bronzer.. my skin looks FLAWLESS!
I am about to return the $70 Cleu de Peau and buy a case of this L'Oreal stuff before they discontinue it!!!

Re: Drugstore makeup MUST HAVE!!
Good to know! I think it is supposed to be a mineral foundation, which is why it covers a little more than a regular loose powder.
I use the Physician's Formual one sometimes over another foundation, but I like how this one has the brush built in.
Maybe I will try it next.
