Yay or nay..color
So...my winter jacket completely broke on me this past Friday and since it is still cold, I'm at the mercy of where there are still down coats...is this color ok with black (I mostly wear black pants)...I was not looking to spend a fortune on a coat since it is Feb! TIA!

Which color? The light navy? I think since it's a down coat it's fine.

Not sure what you are asking. I see a black coat.
I do think it looks REALLY long....and I would think the length would cut most people off...being overwhelming to the normal person. Not sure if you care...just wanted to add my two cents.

Thanks for the opinions..it is long..I am looking on that site for something possibly shorter, but was worried about the color first..I am about 5'8", but got the length and it was 45 1/2" (to about the calf)

Are you talking about the navy color?
I think it's nice! But just FYI, I saw winter coats on sale at Macy's in Roosevelt Field. They had them in the basement.

I actually ended up going with a shorter model in the black after all..had an offer for free shipping and 20% off, so I took it...thanks, PennyCat, but I went to too many stores and was feeling done..lol...

Congrats on your new winter coat! I hope you don't have to wear it much longer though!  I am so freakin done with this winter!   DONE! Unless of course Bloomberg gives us another snow day!!

I would just spend the extra dough and get a North Face. You'll wear it for winters and winters to come!
