Need dinner idea for a PotLuck Supper.....
It's the Mother's Group at my son's school...
One of our all time favorite dishes that I make is Roasted Italian Sausages with Tomatoes and White Beans. So I was planning on bringing that. But DH told me it wasn't a good idea since the beans (cannellini beans) make people have gas and fart Seriously, only my DH!
So now I am trying to come up with something good that appeals to a lot and that is easy.... I work the day of the Pot Luck Super, so I want to be able to come home and just cook/heat it before I head there.
I was thinking now just Sausage and Peppers?? Any other ideas?? Or just go forward with my original idea?
Post a recipe if you suggest something!
Thanks!

what about something you can make ahead and just reheat - like stuffed shells or baked ziti? i think baked pastas appeal to most...

I would stick with your original idea or maybe, if you want to leave out the beans, you could do sausage with rigatoni?

Re: Need dinner idea for a PotLuck Supper.....
1 package bulk sausage meat or link sausage de-linked (take the casing off) 1 bag baby spinach 1 can diced/petite diced tomatoes 1 cup chicken broth pasta (I use whole wheat)
Brown the sausage Add the tomatoes, chicken broth stir See if that is enough "sauce" for the pasta - if not add more broth Add bag of spinach until wilted Stir Serve

Re: Need dinner idea for a PotLuck Supper.....
Thanks ladies! I've been thinking about it all week, and I'm just going to go with the recipe as I wanted to - beans and all!! But I also like the idea of using Rigatoni too instead of beans. Hmm, decisions, decisions.
Nora, that recipe sounds amazing, I am going to try and make that one too for us! Thanks!
