Where should I hang these??

I just ordered two of these from Pottery Barn. I cant decide if they should go on either side of the mirror or either sides of the window. What do you think?

Here are the candleholders.......

Here is the mirror I initially bought them to go on either side of

And here is the window I was thinking of hanging them instead of.

I think on each side of the curtian...if you put in each side of the mirror then the wall across from that will look too empty, unless ou plan on putting something on that wall too.

You can also put those on the empty wall one high and one low.

Re: Where should I hang these??

I really like them for each side of the mirror. Like the above poster said, too small for next to the curtains and I would be nervous to light them with the curtains right there. I would get something else for the curtain wall. Maybe something tall and thin. Or nothing at all. I would finish anything else you want to decorate in the room first and then maybe buy something for the curtain wall.

Idea for the curtain wall.....if you want something there, picture frames. you know the ones that are small and they hang one below the other. You could put just screenery pics or wedding or Honeymoon pics. Just an idea. I will look for some pics later. Chat Icon

Re: Where should I hang these??

Yup! agreed.... to small for window..

i keep trying to think of something for you on that window wall. i think, for me, you need hang things high next to the window. you are trying to get height with the curtains being hung high, so i think you need to compliment that with high hung "things" that come down (like Jenn already stated)... i can't figure what that thing is yet. but, i think photos aren't an option because don't they always say "you are supposed to hang pictures at eyesight level?"

Thanks galsChat Icon

Im putting the Hub to work with hanging them on either side of the mirror as we speak! Chat Icon

ETA: Jen I think waiting to complete everything else in the room before deciding if and what to put there is a good idea. The other wall is going to be so busy with the shelves and frames that it may not need anything at all.

Thanks again everyone!

I forgot what was going on the other wall. I think with shelves and frames on one wall and the mirror & scones on the opposite wall, you don't need anything on the curtain wall. Just my opinion of course. I think it will be just too much for the room if you did all three walls with something on them. Take other pics once everything is done. I'm sure you will love it at that point.Chat Icon

Re: Where should I hang these??

I prefer either side of the mirror because when the candles are lit, the mirror will pick up the light.

The curtains are too big for the candleholders - they would just get lost on that wall.

Enjoy !

I have the same ones and we put them on either side of our mirror. Pics In Album.

So I vote on the sides of the mirror Chat Icon
