Consult with LI IVF

Hi Ladies,

I have my consult with LI IVF next Wed. I got the appt on Friday so I was suprised to get something so quickly. They told me I need to get my records except that everytime I call my OB I get thrown in to the records dept voicemail.... I left a message on Tuesday and they still haven't called back and I am stressing that I won't get them in time for my appt. I keep calling but getting the same voicemail. Does anyone have any experience with getting records from the Suffolk OBGYN? Do they have a quick response once they finally call back? Apparently it needs to be sent in with a written request except I have no idea where to send it because she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I really don't want to have to reschedule my appt!

I went without my records. Don't stress it------keep the appt! The dr will probably be able to call you OBGYN and get the records faxed that day. Good luck!

Thank you! I am hopeful and spoke with my friend (she is recent grad stickydust2010) and she said the same thing..not to cancel. I feel more at ease today. I finally got someone to listen to me before transfering me...turns out they were sending me to the wrong place the whole time. Would have been nice for "Allison" in records to call me back and tell me that though lol. I do feel better so thanks for responding!

I went without my records as well. The receptionist asked me if I had anything with me and I said no. I still saw the Dr. and we are on our way in the testing process. Don't worry!
