? about prev. maintenance contract w/oil companies

I have a contract with Slomins. I just called and they said their earlier appt. is mid-March but my contract is due to expire 3/10 so they are squeezing me in and giving me an appt. 3/5 Chat Icon Chat Icon

Do you really have to schedule your appts 3 months in advance? I've never heard of that. My parents always called their company and they made an appt. for that week or the next.

I've only had that problem with Slomins. I've been with Meenan, General and Slomins, and Slomins is the only one that couldn't give me a preventative maintenance appointment right away.

I used to work for Meenan and I know they didn't like doing those appointments in the winter because of the excessive amount of appointments for service and emergencies and calls for "cleanings" and stuff like that got bumped.

I've only had this issue with Slomin's.

Reason why we're heading into contract with Petro...much better customer service.
