Thanks everyone! Talked to builder, floor plans included

So i went to look at floor plans and talk to the builder. Found one i LOVE and also added the options to get an idea of mortgage etc. Im pretty sure i can wing it. I can definitely afford it for 2010 but not sure about 2011 but that's cuz its a year away!

We would not be getting the fireplace or fourth bedroom walls. We would be getting the kitchen island, study walls/doors, porch (not shown) and patio. Removing the stand in shower and getting a linen closet in the master bath.




Now i just need to see what my check looks like - I made major changes. And hubby is going to have to see if he qualifies for a VA loan cause that would be HUGE

ETA: for those who keep track of this kinda stuff.. base is $161, fantastic school district, 2256 sq ft

oh and yeah.. EVERY room has a walk in closet!

Who knew a floor plan existed!? I was saying how I'd like AJ to have a walkin as a teenager and poof there they are!

dining room seems so far away from the kitchen, if you are using it as so..

otherwise, simple layout out. Like the upstairs game room area.
