Cleaning a basket?
I had a basket I used to store onions - now I want to try and use it for something else. How, if at all, can I clean it from the onion wrapper stuff (you knwo the brown outside film) OR should I dump it since its been used for food?

I would vacuum it up.
I wouldn't throw it out as long as onions didn't get mushy in it.

try using those cans of compressed air. that might get in the hard to reach spots !
