Miele?
I just bought a house with all wood floors and I am looking to make the switch to a canister vacuum. I have been using a dyson bagless for 5 years and while I like it it doesn't do the job on the wood floors.
I hear so many mixed reviews on the kenmore progressive and I dont think I want to go bagless again...too dusty
I am leaning towards a Miele but there are so many and I cant decide! anyone have one?
How often do you have to change the bags? they are expensive!

Re: Miele?
I am suprised your dyson isnt doing the job. My whole house is hardwood floors also and I just use my dyson like every other day and about once a month I steam mop it.
Sorry but I have no clue about the miele

Re: Miele?
My parents have a Miele and they like it but don't love it - not sure what model they have. I have an Electrolux Canister and I like it a lot.

Re: Miele?
My mom ONLY buys Mieles. She says "some people drive BMWs, I drive a Miele"
I wish I could tell you which one she has, its red is all I know.
This looks like the one she has, shes very happy with it but had the hose replaced recently...http://www.bestvacuum.com/miele-vacuum-s514.html

Re: Miele?
I just got the Miele Olympus for my wood floors and I'm obsessed with it. It does all types of carpets as well

Re: Miele?
Wrong Dyson for wood floors... DC22 or DC23 I would suggest...

Re: Miele?
I have an electrolux canister and it works well on my wood floors. It was pricey though.
My MIL is the queen of cleaning and that is the only vaccuum she will use.

My mom has always used this vaccuum and now I use this vaccuum, it comes with so many different attachments!
