to wear a dress with tights and knee boots?
The event is our parish--and DD's school--annual dinner dance/reunion. I've never been to it before.
I read that it's supposed to be pretty cold on Saturday and I only have open-toe heels--which would mean bare legs. Not something I'd be happy in. So can I do the boots or are heels a must?

I think so....I am not sure if my SIL is going but if she was I could bet you she would be wearing dressy pants or what you described. Call her and find out.

Thanks! I did go with the boots...most people wore stockings/heels though. Your SIL was there and she was wearing dressy pants.
