How much pasta to make?
We're having an international potluck in our lab on Tuesday and I'm making Tsimmes (Jewish heritage) and pasta with homemade sauce (since I married into an Italian family!  )
It's 13 people, so how much pasta should I make? 2 lbs? It will be a side dish, as their is a lot of other dishes being made.
Is 2 boxes enough? Or do you think I need 3?

1 pound feeds 4 for dinner...so as a side with other foods, I think 2 boxes will be more then enough.
My MIL made Tsimmies once for passover i think. I'm jewish - don't remember having it. She said it was very time consuming.
Will you share your recipe?

Sure! It's at home though. I'll post later tonight. I made it once (it's my mom's recipe) and I didn't remember it being too time consuming. But I like cooking so I tend to not notice when things take a while to make.

I would actually likely make 2 1/2-3 lbs to be on the safe side.
