Modular homeowners...come on in...Q

DH and are considering having a modular home done. We wants a 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Thinking about a ranch...
How does it work? The guy said something about how the 2nd story homes--the 2nd story is unfinished..is that true?
What kind of detail came you (the owner) plan and what do you not have a choice on?

BIL and SIL have a modular home. Two stories. 2nd story is completely finished, except for spackle and paint to make sure the walls look like one solid house. Once it's built, you would never know that it wasn't built on-site.

I don't know all the details, but I do know they had several plans to choose from, and they did make changes to the plan.

They have 4 b/r and 2.5 baths

we looked into it. it's completely design-able. there was a place over by bk sweeneys in bethpage.

i highly recommend those people. they were very patient and nice!! they explained EVERYTHING.
