Waiting impatiently for our closing date....Anyone else ready to rock and roll?

yeah... me!

although, i am in the beginning stages.

My loan officer just got my information to the processor. they will be scheduling the bank appraisal early next week.

what else do i have to do?

We're waiting as well. All of our paperwork has been submitted, and the appraisal was done a week or so ago. There's still no guarantee that we'll close by the end of the month though.

I have been waiting six months, we actually a month or so when paper work was submitted, three cancel closings in a week. They joy of buying a house.

I am sure you will get yours soon, typically after all paperwork submitted its anywhere from two days to a week unless you have a FHA loan which does take longer at times.

We are waiting now too. Yesterday the FHA appraiser went to the house and said he didn't see any issues. I'm dying to know what it appraised for.

I've been getting homeowners quotes. I'm not sure what else I should be doing. I hope to close by the end of the month!

that is real good because that is where we had problems/delays thanks to the appraiser and if you have no noted damage on your engineer report your closing should be smooth sailing.

LOL... we've been impatiently waiting as well... Loan officer said she'd try to get in a conference call with us tomorrow to go over some final things... IMO, we should have had a date like 2 weeks ago, but I dont want to get into that

If people would get their freakin act together and do the things requested of them, this would have moved a bit quicker...

Gina, I know what you mean! I called my attorney today and asked him if everything was ok with the title. His response:"We have a signed contract?". UMMM...HELLO? 2 weeks ago and my file is with the underwriters. Idiot.

for my closing it was Friday but the bank needed another inspector to come in at 5PM! So there was no chance to get it done that day, so we planned on Monday. Monday came got an email saying the seller's were not ready (um what?) found out that night when I called the seller's their lawyer never informed them friday they were closing on Monday.

So we planned for tuesday, problem is tuesday the Town of Babylon offices were closed and we needed a lawyer to give us our voucher, so we said how about thursday this way it gives an extra day to prep - no go because now the bank needed new financial docs showing our funds (eh it was fine monday but not thurs?) so now its scheduled for tomorrow and I sent a very aggressive email to all parties that THIS IS IT no cancellations, i do not want to hear your b/s about this one had court or that - we are done. Hope it works

some of you have such horror stories! our process was pretty smooth. everything seems to be in order. monday the appraiser submitted all the updats....as far as i know i'm just waiting on a date now!

we should have a closing date happy hour!

thanks i should be getting my numbers shortly my lawyer is in court, the bank already gave it to him this morning. ugh i just want it to end! Good luck everyone else - my closing party will be me tanked in my new living room trying rip out paneling LoL

I've been waiting for a closing date since September!


I already gave my landlord my notice because my broker SWORE to me we would close next week. Unfortunately I have been hearing this for 4 weeks!

We actually closed yesterday.

I am really sorry to hear about all these horror stories about closing. Our closing date was a few days after the preliminary one the bank gave us, but the delay was only because we could not all get our schedules coordinated, but other than that everything went smoothly.
