HELP!
I died my hair, and it is NOT the color on the box. I look like a moron. Do you think it will fade if I wash it like 20x? How soon should I wait before re-dying it? I look completely ridiculous!

My hair is normally dark brown, I had some crappy highlights, so I dyed it a "dark auburn" but it almost looks like I dyed it with koolaid I did it today

Re: HELP!
I would go to the salon. I did something similar a few months back thinking I would save $$ and dye my hair at home and ended up needing to go to the salon to get it "fixed". With permanent color it would just grow out, not so much fade to where it isn't noticeable.

you poor thing! there is a place called studio z on bell blvd that does amazing color correction, they literally saved my hair at one point...now i use this dye at home and have always had excellent results with dark brown color... i would maybe hold off until the weekend if u can just to give ur hair a break and it will absorb the color more...
this is revlon colorsilk #41, i have used this many times...

Re: HELP!
If it's perm color it won't fade out- it has to grow out. Go to the salon and have them remove the bad color and fix it.

Re: HELP!
Definitely go to the salon and get it fixed. The color will never come out the same as the color on the box because everyone's hair color is different. Also when you go to a salon they mix different colors to get the shade that you want. Sometimes it's not worth saving the money with box color because you end up spending more money to fix it. Good luck.
