18, 19 or 20 weeks? When should we go?
On Wednesday I get to schedule my Level II ultrasound. I have the choice of either doing it at 18, 19 or 20 weeks. When did everyone do there's? With my son we did it at 20 weeks. We didn't have a choice then. But my doctor said we could do it whenever we wanted to within that time frame. She said it's better schedule it closer to 20 weeks if we're going to find out the sex, but we're not sure if we're going to or not. I also know a lot of people who had their ultrasound scheduled for 18 weeks and they were able to tell what it was with no problem? Any thoughts? Thanks! I am almost 15 weeks.

I'm going next week and I'll be 18 weeks 2 days! They said that if the baby is cooperating and legs arent' crossed they should definitely be able to tell. I had the choice also but couldn't wait, lol!!!

Thanks for the responses ladies...
Maybe I'll make the appointment for 18 weeks, that way in case the baby doesn't cooperate, then we know it wasn't meant for us to find out what it is! The baby is already measuring 8 days ahead of schedule so if I go at 18 weeks then the baby will be measuring 19 weeks.
I'll see what appointment is available on Wednesday!
