I read so much about you ladies using retinA for wrinkles.

Do you have to get this from a dermatologist? Or what you are buying over the counter to use this at night?

I am lucky to have no acne issues, but I would like it for wrinkle issues currently and to prevent in the future.

Re: RetinA

i got generic retinA from my dermatologist, i pay $10 for a BIG tube. I use it every night.

I got it for acne, but if you have a good dermatologist - they will say it is for acne so insurance covers it

Re: RetinA

I use Neutrogena's night retinol cream. Costs $20 for a tube and I have been using it for 3 weeks and barely made a dent in the tube.

Re: RetinA

I used ROC with Reitinol but to be honest, it dried my skin out so bad that I had to stop.
I have oily skin too- and it was all dry, red, itchy and flakey.

I switched to Loreal Revitalift- I think it has a lower concentration. That doesn't dry me out, but I don't think it works as well either to be honest

That used to happen to me, too. I haven't have a prescription for Retin-A in a while, though. I'm not sure if I knew that there is a generic now.
