How many times a week do you workout for weightloss?
Do you feel an hour 3 times a week is sufficent or should it be uped to 4?
I have beem consistenly getting 3 times for an hour a week.
The weekends get so busy I tend to not make it.
More than 4 times is pretty unrealistic for me.
ANy advice would be awesome!

Honestly, for weight loss you need more than 3 times a week. I workout 5 times a week for maintenance(let's be honest though sometimes it's 4). Also, what kind of working out are you doing? You need some weight training and cardio and I cannot imagine that if you are weight training, you are getting in enough cardio if you are only working out 3 times a week.

Depends on what your doing for the hour and what your calorie intake is.
Are you eating 1800-2000 calories a day and doing weight training.. cardio or both? If so you will loose slowly which is a good thing,
To see big results I would add a day or so and def add weights to your work out and watch your diet.
Good job for getting to the gym at all!! Keep it up!

I have been doing 30 minutes cardio (elliptical or tread or stepper) I do an intense 30min I am dripping when I am done
And @ 30 minutes weights/lunges/calestetics (sp?) ...one day I focus lower body, one day arms/back. The third a mix of upper and lower weights .Two days abs
I am going to try to add in a cple more days....

I'm going to be completly honest - As a trainer, I would rip my client if he/she was only doing 90min total of cardio a week.
Ideally, for weight loss, you want to do at least 45 minutes of cardio, if not an hour 5x a week. Plus weight training for 30-45 minutes on top of that.
If you don't have that much time, you should focus more on the cardio at the beginning and then add in the weights.
All that being said, something is ALWAYS better than nothing. And if you are really doing all that you can right now, then it is what it is and you keep on going! It's all about pushing YOUR limits, there is no perfect workout, remember what its about, work for yourself and you'll be good!

It is helpful to know and I will try to get in the additional time for cardio! To be honest I COULD do more cardio , I just hate it

I think that you should up cardio to 40-45 minutes 3x a week. Then fit in weight lifting where you can or add a day for weight lifting.
