MASSIVE hair falling out...
and breaking. Who do I talk to? My hair person? A dermatologist? I had a baby 7 months ago, have been dieting, stopped taking birth control and have been coloring my hair. I'm thinking it's probably a combination of everything. I don't know where to turn.

I had my baby 8 months ago and in the last 6 weeks or so my hair has been falling out like crazy. It is insane what comes out when I wash it. I can't believe there is still hair on my head after what comes out in the shower.
I keep telling myself it will stop :(

It is hormonal from having DC. While disconcerting it is completely normal. You shed less hair while pregnant and your hormones after you give birth change. It usually happens between months 4-8 post partum. If it does not go away then I would talk to your obgyn or an endocrinologist. HTH
