I'm so sorry to hear about your pookie. We just spent the last year dealing with almost the same thing. Unfortunately, we just put Bubba down this week, but after his surgery in December, he had the BEST 8 months. He was a brand new cat...playing all the time, eating like a pig, enjoying life. Feel free to FM me with any questions you have after you meet with the oncologist. We did 1 treatment every 4-5 weeks. It was expensive, about $500 each time, but I charged it. I don't care..it'll be paid off eventually. It was an expensive chemo drug. There are less expensive chemo drugs that are commonly and successfully used. Cats handle chemo very well., b/c they use such a low dosage. They don't try to cure the cancer, just prolong the kitty's life...and quality of life. Bubba did very well on the chemo. He would have about 5 days of so-so appetite after each treatment, followed by a month of total pigouts.

Oh my God, I am so, so sorry. I can't believe this could have all been brought on by a vaccination??? What sort of vaccine? I am praying you for you and your precious pookie. I hope she gets better.

I didn't get a chance to come on this weekend so I'm just reading your updates now.
And crying, of course. 
It sounds like you had quite a roller coaster of a weekend, but I am glad there is a better update just now.
I can't tell you how much I can sympathize with what you are going through- and the absolute hell that it is...I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Hang in there and continued prayers for you and your kitty.

Ask your vet for this supplement: lixotinic. It's also sold as something called Pet Tinic. They had Bubba on this for a month after his surgery. It has a lot of iron in it and it also helps with energy and appetite. The hospital he had the surgery in had it.
I'm glad his numbers went up!
