Mortgage Broker?
I have an appointment with my lawyer on Thursday to go over our contract. 
We dont' have a mortgage yet....do I go with a broker? If I don't go wth a broker does that basically mean that I just call banks (like Wells Fargo) to try to get a mortgage?
What does everyone recommend?
At the real estate agency there is a mortgage broker. Is this a normal thing?

I would try dealing with a loan officer directly. If you are a first time homebuyer you may qualify for various programs. I'd be happy to rec. someone just FM me.
