Brazilian Straightening ladies ( ones who did it already)....
How long did it last for you?
Did you go back to get it redone?
TIA

Mine probably lasted 4-5 weeks... enough to last the rainy month of June. I wouldn't do it again. Not worth the time and money to me. I'm glad I tried it but it didn't blow me away.

Mine lasted about a month, I am a JHS girl and was extremely disappointed with the Brazilian so I'd probably never do it again.

I got it done exactly a month ago today and I think mine is still looking good, def not as smooth as it was and needs a little hot iron in the AM but I think I can hold out another few weeks.
I think I would do it again, it has cut my prep time in the AM by 1/2 and boy do I love my sleep

Wow...I have really kinky curly hair and it's still going strong at 8 weeks.
I was told it would last 4-5 months, maybe even 6.

Re: Brazilian Straightening ladies ( ones who did it already)....
It lasted a really long time for me --- a good 6 months then after that, it slowly got thicker.
This time, it lasted under a week. We figured out that the iron was set to over 450 degrees when it was first applied and I had my iron at home at 500. So within the first 72 hours I basically burned it all out of my hair. Check your irons --- do not go above 450 --- stay closer to 400 -- I think it will make a difference in lasting power...
