need tank tops for layering
target has nice ones but not in the colors i need.
old navy tank tops stink! crappy quality and they do not fit well.
where else can i look? is it worth going to kohl's? gap? i don't want to spend an arm and a leg but i am tired of buying crap clothes that don't last!

I love H&M tank tops. They have the best maternity tanks too.
They are definitely not good quality, only last a year or so, but they are cheap enough that you can just buy new ones everyyear.

i went to the Gap outlet at the Source mall and although they didn't have the tanks i wanted (no gap body other than the ones with the shelf bra, which i can't wear), i did walk out with 3 - one with lace trim and 2 camis for layering. everything was 40 or 50% off!

These are stricktly sold at Gap Body.. they are SUPER soft and pretty thin.. They come in basic white, grey and black. You can sometimes find other colors... Everyone I recommend these to ends up LOVING them.. worth a shot!!
Everything onsale at the reg Gap is an additional 40% off.. I got a bunch of tanks (not for layering) for under $10.
