Appraiser???
Can anyone reccomend a good appraiser thats not so pricey in Western Suffolk. TIA!

what do you need the appraisal for? If its for a mortgage/refi most banks will require their own appraisal ordered by them.
If its for personal use (divorce, estate, market valuation, tax grievance, etc), you're ok with hiring an appraiser yourself.
You should expect to pay $300-350 for a standard appraisal. Appraisal fees dont vary *that* much for an average home.

Its for a refi with cash out...I think the broker told them to find an appraiser but I will ask and find out. Thanks!
