Note to self...
check the dates for open houses before you leave the house. 
DH and I get to a house today and ring the doorbell to be told, nope, sorry, no open house today. They gave us a tour anyway but I felt like such a TOOL!
We liked it a lot though, so at least there's that.

OMG...this happened to me and DH when we were looking.
The open house was the day before. They wouldn't show us the inside...but they allowed us to walk around the yard.
Very embarrassing
