we had to take Hershey to the ER last night
Hershey ate a whole container of crab salad out of the garbage while we werent home.... his eyes, face and paws blew up as he was having an allergic reaction
we took him to the 24hr vet hospital on sunrise hwy in west islip (i forget the name of it) they were GREAT!!! took him in right away!
gave him a shot of benadryl and told us to buy OTC benadryl at a drug store and give him some today -- the swelling went down within 45 minutes
it was really sad!!

Rocco has allergies and the Vet told me to have adult benadryl at home and give him one dose if it start to control it

oh!! give him lots of kisses!! keep children's benadryl on hand (we have a stash!)
that vet place is great...very nice people there!
