Anyone use clean and clear products?
I'm 34 and starting to get some acne for the first time since my teens. Mainly on the forhead and chin. Thinking of trying Clean and Clear, but confused as to where to start. Would just a cleanser be enough or should I use a toner as well? Any experiences to share? Thanks.

Re: Anyone use clean and clear products?
i used to use those in college, haven't in years. i only use neutrogena now because i find it works best. it's all really the same stuff though.
for mild acne i would just start with a cleanser and maybe a toner if you get oily. you don't want to dry out your skin.

Just look at the active ingrediants. Over the counter acne products are going to contain one of two things... Either salicylic acid or benzoyal peroxide- in different percentage strengths.
When it comes down to it- all of them are the same. If something has 2% salicylic acid it's the same as all 14 other over the counter products with 2% salicylic acid....

Just be careful about whether you have reactions to particular products -- dermatologists told me for years to use products with salcylic acid as the main ingredient, and as it turns out I have been having a reaction to it for years. I can only use benzoyl peroxide products now.
