Anyone have JHS and then stop and go back to natural?
I am curious to find someone who had curly hair, then had JHS, and then let it grow and go natural. I would love to have JHS but am worried what my hair will end up like when I am done with JHS. I can't imagine I will do inevitably and want my curly hair to return.

I did, my curls are not the same.
I also think pregnancy changed my hair so I chalk it up to both.

Re: Anyone have JHS and then stop and go back to natural?
I grew mine out during pregnancy. It was so hard to deal with, half straight and the roots curly. I let it grow out, and tried to donate it Locks of Love, but the salon I went to told me they dont take JHS hair.
My hair is back to curly. I would love to JHS again, but the grow out is what prevents me from doing it.

Scientifically, JHS will NOT change your new hair growth. But it is a PITA to grow out.

I'm growing it out because I'm pregnant. It really sucks! lol I hate it and I keep flat-ironing it. I think I will definitely re-do as soon as I can after the baby is born.

I had it years ago and HATED it so I decided to let it grow back and it took almost 3 years! My curls were exactly the same - thank god! I will NEVER do JHS again!

My hair is wavy (curlier on top) and I am growing it out (only because I'm pregnant!) Once the baby is born I'm doing it again.
But, to answer your quesiton I would say that my hair is the same texture/curl as it was before JHS and I've had the JHS done three times.

Re: Anyone have JHS and then stop and go back to natural?
I did it and let it grow out. The growing out wasn't THAT bad for me b/c my hair seems to not curl so much at the roots, so though I had to dry it straight a bit and would occasionally straight iron it, it worked.
After it grew a lot, I did cut what was left and donated it to Locks of Love. I went to my hair stylist and asked if it seemed too damaged for donating and he said not at all.
My curls came back the same as before. I kind of wish I had gotten it done again b/f getting pregnant though - I think this summer would have been much easier!!
