* The best thing about having a HOME is being able to buy ....
our new puppy! We have had Lola for about a month now, she will be 4 months old in a few days. She has brought so much happiness and laughter into our lives I cannot even describe. My DH and I both adore her. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET SO ATTACHED TO HER. I never understood the pet owners who were so obsessed with their animals until now.
Growing up we used to breed Chihuahuas. I have to say, people who dont have them really dont understand what great pets they are. All of my dogs were so loyal, playful, friendly, etc. It really is how you raise them! I dont treat Lola like a fragile little thing. She is spunky, crazy, playful, and runs around the yard chasing balls and playing fetch just like any other dog haha

We have a 3.5 year old boy chihuahua. I have to agree that they are very lovable, crazy, full of energy, and protective of his owners....My dog is 9lbs. How big is your chi?

Aww, do you have any pictures? Currently, Lola is 2.14lbs at 4 months. I have no idea how big she will get when she is fully grown.

 she is adorable...we have 2 chi's and sometimes in the morning when i'm coming down the stairs i'll see the two of them just sitting at the glass door looking outside and it just makes my heart melt...like all the troubles of buying and owning a home totally go out the window when i see how happy it makes our "family".  Good luck with your little girl!

We did the same thing! We adopted a dog three weeks ago - 4 months after we moved into our house!
Congrats - she's adorable!
