NEED HELP With Furniture AGAIN....

The rug comes tomorrow, but this is some of the furniture we bought, but not sure I love the layout.

We had a chair in the upper left corner, but it was too crowded. So we thought to just get 2 bar stools for the counter area.

Don't like the leather cocktail ottoman & will probably do fabric instead.

Still need something to put in the corner by the window to house TV electronics.

Any thoughts?

(this is the left wall, there are 2 entrance ways into kitchen)

how about angling the loveseat or flipping the lovceseat with the couch? side table on the other end of the couch? try different layouts and take pics.

you can easily break up the monotone color but adding a throw to the ottom, a serving tray with candles, a few books or a small plant.

the focus is now on the furniture since it is the only thing in the room but with the addition of the rug, art, accessories, lamps, plants, pillows, and a throw, the room will look completely different.

I love my leather ottoman - very easy to clean - especially when people put their feet on it and then eat off of it too! I woudl also try switching the loveseat and sofa. And moving it slightly off the way so it's not right up against - that might help give them room a better flow

Re: NEED HELP With Furniture AGAIN....

I wish I could put a lot of little accessories, but with a 15 month old...for now I am limited.

I love the ease of cleaning leather too, but really thought fabric would look nicer? Plus if feet are on it....no shoes Chat Icon

I will try flipping the couch and loveseat....we had that before and it didn't seem as nice, but when the rug comes today maybe it'll look different. We can't put the table on the other side of the couch because that is where the electronics are going to need to go(when we find a case to house them)

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll update for thoughts after the rug is down.

glass tables with a 15 month old? WOW, you are brave. hmm, what are you going to put on the sofa table that is child safe? i guess decorative fabric boxes would work.
