I put an offer....
to have it rejected and then counter-offered at a ridiculous number....but I couldn't be happier It's the first time we ever put an offer on a house and it feels good to get over the "what-ifs". Now it's on to the next step- getting the offer accepted!

Re: I put an offer....
I have been going through this process since February I'd say. we had put in quite a few offers, some we were outbid, some we just walked away from and some the sellers just wouldn't come down enough.
We are currently in contract so hopefully will continue to go smoothly and we'll close by September.
Good luck to you! It's quite the ride of the emotional rollercoaster.

Congrats!!! Good luck with everything!!! I think it has to be customary to go through a couple of rejected offers before I can get the house (at least that's my wishful thinking)
