Ganirelex for suppressing follie growth
Anyone ever on this? If yes, were there side effects etc? TIA!

Yes, its very common to take this just to make sure the eggs dont release prematurely.
I've never suffered any side effects, its a much easier injection to take.

Great that's comforting thank you. I am making follies during my luteal phase and end up with large follies on cd3 so we are using it to suppress follie growth (starting wednesday) then will follow that up with follistim. I was on letrizole before so this is all new to me. Although I do lovenox shots and I'm not too bothered by those shots.

I've used it as well and didn't have any side effects at all. It was very similar to the lupron injections.

The only problem I had with it was the injection site would get red and itchy for about an hour.

I've been on Cetrotide - which remember we spoke about was the same just different brand - and didn't have any side effects from that.

I've used it more times than I want to think about, but you shouldn't have any side effects from this. From everything, yes. And its an easy shot because it comes in a pre-filled syringe. Good luck.

Your very welcome, I've done two cycles on follistim, again its a very easy drug to take. Let me know if you have any questions.
