Can anyone help?
Ugh, I am freaking out about this.
We bought our apartment 1 year ago and it has original (1950) hardwood floors which were refinished about 5 years ago and in overall very good condition.
We did not have an inspection since it is a COOP and we don't really own the outside, roof, heating, etc. and were advised that an inspection was unnecessary.
I did a bit of cleaning this weekend and noticed a TON of small holes in the wood in several of the boards in the dining room and other areas.
Doing some research it looks like it could be from Powderpost Beatles.
Question - how do I know if this is old damage or new damage? I never noticed it before and my FIL said I could have sucked up some filling that was in the holes in my vacuum.
Does anyone know anyone in the pest control industry?

I have an exterminator who I like a lot. I don't have his # but he should be coming next tuesday. I can get contact info if you're interested.
