if you did a seller's concession
did your loan officer have you insert "special" wording into the contract to cover this?

Our contract was signed before we went to a mortgage company. So they didn't request anything to be in the contract.
They did want a copy of it though.

i know my loan officer is just trying to be helpful but it's just delaying things even more

If there is a seller's concession special language is not required but probably looked for by banks. This has ALOT to do with the whole mortgage crisis and people getting into alot of trouble with seller's concessions. The Seller's should not have a problem with adding the language.
