It looks great! Did they use the formula without formaldehyde? I originally wanted to do this but was deterred by that.

They do use the formula with Formaldehyde but it did not smell like everyone has been saying. It smelled fruity, and this one was the 24hour one where you can wash your hair the next day. There are other treatments that don't have formaldehyde in it, but honestly it can't be any worse than smoking.
I think the hair dresser has more to worry about than we do, since they are doing it so often and inhaling it constantly.

It smelled like bubble gum when she was applying it to my hair.
Mimi- How has your hair been since you washed it?

Thanks!
I had it done by Jen C. at Majestic Salon in Seaford. She was recommended by MrsM-6-7-08 who is a friend of hers and also had it done by her.
It was $300 and they give you a free shampoo and conditioner to take home and you can go back for a free blowout at any time. Also, you can wash it after only 24 hours which was a major plus for me.

Wow, maybe next time I go to NY I will have to check them out. I paid a little less, but I have to wait 4 days and already my hair feels gross!!!!!

I actually had it done. Even though my hair looked awesome, I'd never do it again. If you do a search on the internet and you read all the stuff about Formaldehyde, you will think twice about having it done again. And then I saw a program in regards to this. They had a doctor expressing concerns in regards to the use of this product. He mentioned that even though you may not be aware of it, when you are drying your hair, there's still fumes coming off it. So it's not only the hairstylist concern but also us in a sense that have it in our hair. After I saw that report, I wash my hair with regular shampoo every time I washed my hair to make sure I got the product out of my hair as soon as possible. And if I go to a salon now, I'd ask them to let me know if they are applying this to anyone. Even tough the smell when I did mine wasn't bad at all, I really don't want to be around. I'd say before you do this, research !! When you read in length about this, you just might change your mind.

I actually had it done today and the haridresser told me that there is very little formaldehyde in it and the amount in it is equivalent to the amoutn in nail polish remover!
