BBQ Help
We are having a smallish BBQ Party ( 45 people including kids) , just hamburgers, hotdogs to BBQ.
Then as sides we are making macaroni and potato salad but I want something else. Besides a regular salad?
Any ideas?? For another "side" ?
TIA

Re: BBQ Help
How about grilled veggies or corn on the cob on the grill?

Re: BBQ Help
Baked Beans -- if you want I have a really good recipe to kind of kick them up a little. And they are pretty inexpensive to make.
Green Bean Salad
Tomato and Cucumber Salad

Re: BBQ Help
Corn 'salad' is a huge hit for us.
Blanche fresh Corn on the Cob for about 1 minute in BOILING water.. you dont' cook it - just blanche it so the color goes deeper.
Scrape the kernals off the cob and put it in a bowl with chopped red onion, crushed sweet basil, a palmful of chopped bell pepper and a palmful of diced tomato if you'd like.
Add cider vinegar and a little olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
It's always GONE so fast in our house!
