Outdoor baby shower venues?
Hi, I'm trying to find a unique (or not lol) spot to host an outdoor baby shower. It doesn't have to be fully outdoor but maybe an outdoor garden or something that you can use in addition to an indoor room. It can be on LI (nassau preferably) or maybe even a rooftop venue in the city. We are looking for something different. any suggestions? TIA

What about the Royalton? You could do it in the conservatory...I believe they do host smaller parties in that room. And they'd probably work with you....

Re: Outdoor baby shower venues?
I went to a shower years ago at the tennis club(can't think of the name) in LIC that is right across from NYC
it was pretty cool because it had a great view and the host did a bbq
good luck!

Re: Outdoor baby shower venues?
I would try to do it somewhere like a restaurant with an outdoor patio with lots of shade. I would be concerned if it was a really hot day, that the mom-to-be would be quite uncomfortable. Maybe one of the restaurants in Long Beach? I think it's Sutton Place that has this kind of set-up. I am sure some of the other restaurants may as well.
