Deer Park

NO CLUE about this area other then driving down DPA to go hang out in the shopping centers and race. Any good areas and to stay away, schools?

I grew up in North Babylon and have a lot of friends from Deer Park.

A couple of them lived in the West blocks (closer to DPA), and two or three lived further north where they were DP zip code and Half Hollow Hills SD.

I think the area to stay away from is the West blocks close to Wyandanch...

If you stay close to DPA it's a good area.

Schools are middle of the road. Not a GREAT district, but not bad. It's the type of school where you get out what you put in. All my friends and people I know turned out OK.

If you show me what houses you're looking at - I can tell you if it's a nice area....
