would you be able to see/hear a heartbeat at 6 weeks?

I am going for a viability scan on May 29th. According to my LMP, if I were on a 28 day cycle, I would be 7weeks and 2 days pregnant. However, I am not on a 28 day cycle. MY AF has been very irregular since having my baby. It came 6 weeks after delivering, then 4 wks later, then 3.5 weeks later, then 5 weeks later. I know I could not have conceived prior to Apr 25th in this cycle, which would make me 1 day short of 7 weeks at the time of the scan. But, it's possible I didn't conceive until a few days after that, which would make me only about 6 weeks 2 days at the time of the scan. I'm really worried that they wont find a heartbeat and will tell me it's bad news because they will go by LMP and 28 day cycle.

My first Doc appt when I found out I was preggo was 6 weeks and we did get to see and hear the HB.

I saw the HB and heard it on the sono at 6 weeks and 2 days

i was just shy of 7 weeks when i went for my first sono and saw the flicker of the heart beat.

lots of girls on here though didnt see it that early.

I was able to see a light flicker at 6w2d.

thats why my doctor wont see anyone until theyre 8 weeks. cause at that point you should definitely hear a heartbeat. if you don't hear it now i wouldnt stress too much. I'd wait until you're about 8 weeks to determine.

I went yesterday and I was 6w5d and we saw and heard the heartbeat but everyone is different. I told our cousin who just had a baby and she didnt hear or see the heartbeat until 8 weeks

I saw and heard a HB at 5 wks with my last one !

At 6wks I just saw the sac. for all I know, the HB started the day after - every day counts. So don't worry if you don't see anything!

My first sono was at 6 weeks and we saw/heard the heartbeat.

At 5w5d all I saw was a sac(my beta was 12,000)...the week before there was barely any thing there(beta was 900)...b/c the beta was going up and sac grew md was optimistic I went back at 8w3d and there was a baby and we saw the heartbeat. I also have cycles a little over 30 days so at my first appt i thought i was 5wks and at 2nd appt i thought i was 6wks...so be patient you may have to go for a repeat in a week or two(easier said than done!)

My first appt was at 5w5d and we saw a heartbeat. Lots of women on here heard them later too.

I saw and heard two heartbeats at 6w1d but they were very slow (107 and 98 bpm).

I did not see the heartbeat until 8 weeks, my little one was a late bloomer...

We saw a HB a little over 6 weeks, but DO NOT freak if you don't see one. It's very common not to see one until at least 7 weeks

we saw the heartbeat at 6w...I went back on 6w4d (due to bleeding) and was able to hear the heartbeat

I went for my first sono at 6 weeks and they did NOT find a heartbeat.
I went again at 7 weeks and they DID find the heartbeat.

The point that you're at right now is a very hit or miss time cause you're so early on.
