FInally!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are beginning the house hunt. This Sunday we will begin to actually go look at some houses.
My dh is a real estate agent/mortgage broker so he will set up all of our appointments.
Dh thinks we will be in our home by the end of the summer. I hope he is right.
I have been waiting for the time to come when we were finally ready and here we are

We are actually looking in many places lol
East islip, islip, islip terrace, sayville, babylon, hauppauhe, ronkonkoma.
As long as it is somewhat close to where we work and where my family lives and it has a GREAT school district (I am a teacher so it is so important to me)

Good luck and happy hunting! If you're able to get into a house by end of summer that would be awesome...and I'd be jealous b/c it took us 2 yrs to find a home!

Good luck - it is so exciting to start looking. I love all of those areas that you mentioned, particularly Sayville! DH lived there for many years before we got married and I love spending time there!

Good luck! We were looking in the same areas and we ended up only looking in Sayville and we're closing on our house tomorrow :) It's so exciting, defintely stressful, but try to have fun with it!
