Spinoff to cycle post
today is 5 wks since my D&C and no AF and no BFP...when did you get AF after a D&C? do i have anything to worry about?

I do not think you have anything to worry about, as it could take several weeks to get AF.
I understand your angst though, as getting AF is the one thing that makes things seem somewhat "Normal" again.
I'm not a dr., but I can tell you about my last experience. With my last D&C, I went for my 3 week follow up appoinment, they checked my levels which had gone down to 0, and said that I would likely get AF any day now. I got it the next day.
If you are that concerned, call the dr. and have him check your levels so you can see where you are.

My doctor said it could take up to 8 weeks to get AF again. For me it took 4 1/2. Hang in there!

I normally have a 35 day cycle, but it took me 8wks to get AF again....it just takes time. I was told getting your period after a m/c either natural or post D&C is the ultimate reset button so it can take some time. I know it's hard

I got AF 4 weeks and 2 days after my D&C. I was told that it most people will get within 6 weeks of the D&C. You'll get it soon

My first m/c, AF showed up after 5 weeks to the day that I started bleeding - I took cytotec that time, no D&C. I hope that this time AF comes pretty quickly again so we can get going again.
I'm sure yours will be here soon - they say it can take up to 8 weeks - Hang in there!

my dr. told me 4 weeks, (its only been 1w3d for me) but I'm sure everyone is different as I read above. Best of luck maybe you can have the level test as mentioned above

It might have taken a while for your beta levels to go down. When did you have them last checked? My dr said it can take a few weeks for you body to get back to normal

It took me 5.5 weeks to get my AF after my d&c. Yours will come - its just waiting for that's the worst part!

just an update on this....I met with dr. today and he said that anything 4-9 weeks is normal. HANG IN THERE! Its coming.....
