OpenTable.com
Does anyone ever have luck with this site? No matter how far in advance I put in the reservation, no matter the restaurant, time, or how many people, they NEVER have availabilty when I want it. But then when I call the restaurant directly, I am able to get a reservation. Is it just me? Is OpenTable allotted only a certain number of reservations? Very strange.

wow! i never get this! I am always able to make a reservation. You must be picking places that are very hard to get into in general, maybe??
Its only happened to me once (prime in huntington) where i was able to call and get a reservation, yet online it said nothing was open

I can almost always get a reservation. When I have a large party, it's more difficult. Then I call the restaurant & they mark down it's opentable so I can get the points.

I just used OpenTable.com on Thursday and had no problems getting a reservation. I got an e-mail from them later saying I was a no-show to my reservation, but we were definitely there  I'm still trying to clear that up...
