Does anyone have a litterbox in a bedroom?
Does anyone have a litterbox in a bedroom in their house?
To me, the thought of the dust from the litterbox getting into the mattress, sheets, pillows, comforter, etc. grosses me out.
Our litter box is in a spare bedroom right now, but there is no bed in that room. But the dust is insane. The top of the TV in that room is . I could only imagine what would seep into the bed.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?

I'm a bathroom litter box person...I like that the litter can't get tracked into carpet, etc. in the bath. And it's easier to keep clean. We've always found an inconspicuous corner to put the box in and I've always used a hooded box.

Re: Does anyone have a litterbox in a bedroom?
We have one covered one in the guest bedroom - it will be removed if we ever get any guests
I prefer them in the bathroom since it's dealing with poop and pee but our bathrooms upstairs are way too small to fit one.
I don't think that it is any more dusty, etc than any others. The cover helps and the cats just go in and out and don't stay in the rom.
Te bigger ones are i the big bathroom downstairs, and that's where the cats go most of the time anyway.

I personally would never put a litterbox in a bedroom.

Oh heck no...I could never...the smell would gag me every day.....when we lived an apt, the only place we could have it was in our bathroom but luckily that bathroom was pretty big. Now in our house it's in the basement.

Right now we have the little box in the spare bedroom in our Apt. This spare bedroom will become the baby's room, though and I DEFINITELY don't want it in there. The only other place to put it is our bedroom. Our bathroom is too compact to fit it.

Re: Does anyone have a litterbox in a bedroom?
unfortunalty, the only place we can keep Miller's litter box is the guest bedroom.. our bathrooms are WAYYYY too small!
if we do have guests (which is NOT often) we move it into our room for that time period
