What do you do
when your dog is feeling under the weather? My dog had diarrhea this morning, and then again a little this afternoon. He ate lunch (gave him some white rice) and he was fine. Held it down. He's been in his cage for the past hour and his nose is warm. I think it's just a little bug, and the vet is not there. Should I do anything?

Re: What do you do
Remove the dog food and do the rice w/boiled chicken for the next 36-48 hours. If it goes away, start to add the dog food back in in small amts.
If it doesn't go away, see the vet!

Re: What do you do
We had this three days ago. We only feed 2x a day so we gave him a 1/4 cup (he's 65 pounds) of rice in the middle of the day. By the time dinner came, he was fine. The last time we gave him rice, we gave him too much and he was constipated. Poor guy.
I've also used pumpkin puree to settle his stomach. I put them in ice cube trays and freeze them so I can use them anytime and they don't go bad.
I hope he feels better soon!
