How often do you groom your pup?

I guess it would make sense to write what breed your baby is and how often you bring him/her to the groomer.

I have a Shih Tzu, 10 months old, and although I thought I'd get away with going every three months, she has proved me wrong!!!! Her hair grows so fast and covers her eyes :( Poor baby lol

So, I've found that two months is the max and even that is a little too long!

I have a French Bulldog.
I groom her myself . I try to give her a bath every month in the summer and every other month in the winter.

You could always try doing some of the things she needs yourself, to save on time and money. Like trim her bangs and cut her nails... even the occasional bath. Then when she needs a haircut take her to the groomers.
How much is a trip to the groomer these days ?

We have 3 Havanese and we get them groomed every 6 weeks

the average is 6-8 weeks. At least that's what they recommend in salons. It's hard to keep up with dogs hair every day when life gets busy so they do get matted easily so that's why they recommend so often.

Our shih tzu has to go every 6 weeks or she gets matted (even with brushing) or the hair around her eyes gets too long.

I have a havanese also and we try to get her to the groomer every 6 weeks. Sometimes she needs to go even sooner than that

Maltese every 6 weeks.. And I think that is too long.. i would like every 4 but its way too much $$..

my golden retriever and yorkie both get groomed every 6-8 weeks.

Daisy can go every 8-12 weeks.

Oh ok, so my dog's hair doesn't grow abnormally fast then lol Thanks!

We have 2 Shih Tzu's and we bring them in every 5-6 weeks. Not only does their hair grow quick, we have their anal glands expressed. f we wait any longer then 5-6 weeks, they are so uncomfortable, if you know what I mean.

My yorkies go about every 6 weeks.
